For those of you following our blog and twitter accounts you are well aware of the Fusible Graphics process, however, are you aware of the significant advantages over embroidery? It really comes down to time and money. However, before I get into that, let’s talk about quality. This one is difficult to define because I believe in my heart our process offers the greatest quality on the market, but I’m also looking for different things than the average guy. Meaning…..if you are looking for digital quality and 3D design, then Fusible Graphics is the way to go over anything on the market. However if you have a very simple, one color logo, embroidery may be the way to go. When talking about quality many ask, what about longevity of the product and washability. I get this question all the time. The fact is I wear our process on my shirts and hats daily. I wash them over and over again and can say without any reservation that our technology with outlast the garment for which it is applied. What most impressed me from the very beginning in working with this technology is how well the color lasts over time. Most heat transfers are made of materials that are foreign to fabrics. This causes those heat transfers to fade and crack over time. Fusible Graphics is made with fiber and the inks are imbedded within the fabrics in way that prevents them from escaping. This ensure the color lasts for the life of the garment. So quality is a question I get all the time and it’s easy to be biased and tell my customers we are the best, but they really want to know why. The answer is, the product is made from fiber, not some petroleum based material. It’s also saturated with the dye from within the fibers in a manner that prevent the dye from leaking out. This ensures the highest of color quality and brilliancy.
Back to the original discussion. How do our heat transfers compare to embroidery. Well the biggest answer if from the savings and time. Our process is much faster than embroidery. This gives our printing customers the ability to get the final product to the customer much more quickly but with the savings in production time there is the ability for the business man to make much more money per job. In the U.S. our biggest costs are labor. When we can produce more widgets in the same time period this means more money for the business. That’s essentially what we’ve done with our process. The best part is we give this process to our print customers. You heard that correctly. We literally give our process to other companies so they may benefit from the Fusible Graphics process. We make our money on the materials that supply that process.
If you are an embroiderer, you are seriously missing out on increased throughput and higher margins if you don’t utilize this process. You will be able to do low volume jobs with ease and very quickly. There’s no need to digitize the logo which maintains the integrity of the original design. There are so many reasons from a quality standpoint, but at the end of the day aren’t we in business to make money? I sure would think so, and with our technology I guarantee you will make much margin per job using the Fusible Graphics technology over embroidery every time.
